1999 — while dealing with a horrific psychological low, nick intends to commit suicide. the night he attempts it, kenda kills herself, having been infected by his emotions. utterly devastated but terrified of anyone else getting hurt, nick admits himself to st. jude's mental hospital, trying to get better.2008 — while still admitted to the psychiatric ward, nick is visited by a man who says he's inherited money from a relative. the man also confirms nick's memories, which he had begun to believe were delusions, and reactivates the programming in his mind. this snowballs out of control, however, as nick's fluctating mental state begins to lead to deaths. he is only stopped via his remaining psychic connection to olivia dunham, who manages to find and incapacitate him. he is put into a medically induced coma and held at massive dynamic.

2009 — nick is awoken from his coma, and put into training with sally clark and james heath, to overcome the programming and control their powers.2010 — the cortexiphan subjects at massive dynamic are given the choice to help walter bishop retrieve his son from the parallel universe. nick is sympathetic, and agrees. he nearly dies in the other universe, and barely manages to make the jump back home before bleeding out.2011 — after he recovers, nick petitions the fbi and massive dynamic to release him, stating his full compliance and control over his powers. he is released under the condition that he consult with the fbi on fringe cases whenever his skills are required.

2004 — edward drops out of high school and begins working, odd jobs, deliveries, whatever he can do to make enough money to emancipate himself from the foster system. once emancipated, he seeks out his family, only to find that his mother had died and his sister had been adopted fairly quickly and had no interest in rekindling a relationship with him. devastated, edward resolves to never need anyone again.2006 — purposeless, without a support system or enough of an education to make a living, edward does the only thing he can think to do: enlists in the military. he joins the navy, where he impressed his superiors enough that he quickly slid into an undisclosed role with the navy seals.2009 — edward clashes with a corrupt officer, earning a target on his back. when he's attacked by a fellow seal not long after, he retaliates, killing the one who had attacked him. the military is quick to sweep the incident under the rug when they realize the corruption is proveable, dishonorably discharging him without a trial. with no other prospects, edward reinvents himself as logan jones and becomes a mercenary for hire.

2017 — logan is hired by general davies to ingratiate himself to jaimie campbell and the rest of her team and report back. he does so, though he genuinely develops feelings for jaimie, and tries to get her to escape with him before the team is attacked. she tranquilizes him so that he cannot use his parachute and pushes him out of the plane. his altimeter deploys his chute for him, but he's still gravely injured. he runs into jaimie again not long afterward, and attacks davies' men to let her and mitch escape.2018 — after the drop of the tx gas that sterilizes humanity, logan jones reinvents himself again as logan hale, becoming a detective in new york city and striking up a relationship with jaimie, with whom he begins raising mitch's daughter, clementine.2020 — after clementine's fourteenth birthday party, her biological grandfather attends, and files for custody against logan and jaimie, they lose full custody, but not contact. not long after, jaimie and logan break up for good.2027 — logan becomes a consultant to the iadg, while doing the best to curtail jaimie's aggressive tendencies and stop abigail westbrook from destroying the world.

It's mainly brushed off as him being quick and sneaky, until he's seven years old and his desire to play with his friends sees him cross town in seconds, drawing the attention of the townspeople and, shortly thereafter, the U.S. Government.childhood ends. — Jack and Connor's chilldhoods end when Jack is ten and Connor is eleven. Representatives from the Department of Defense show up at their family home, admitting to the Shepards that they've been under surveillance for some time, and have prepared a place to train the boys to control their powers. Joseph and Barbara sign custody of their sons away, and Connor and Jack are taken to Area 52.The Shepard boys, alongisde a handful of other similarly 'gifted' children, are raised as soldiers. the zenith team — When Jack is fifteen, the government utilizes their team for the first time. They decide on their own alter egos (Zoom, Concussion, Ace, Marksman, and Daravia) and go into action, as the Zenith Team, named after the Department of Defense program that trained them. The Zenith team become semi-public figures, fighting crime and stopping threats under direction from the DOD.This continues for three years, until scientists came up with a proposal to boost their powers even further than training already had: a dose of Gamma radiation, thirteen times the lethal dose. It's an extremely painful procedure that nearly kills them all, but in the end, it seems to have worked. Once they recover from the inherent radiation poisoning, their powers are greatly enhanced. Jack's powers go from supersonic to hypersonic.the collapse. — Shortly after they are dosed, Connor begins acting differently. He's more agitated, quick to anger and harder to calm, snapping at his team. This continues to escalate until he begins lashing out at his team physically. Connor becomes more and more unhinged and aggressive, leading into one final, tragic showdown.Ace, Daravia, and Marksman all fall at Concussion's hand in an attempt to subdue him. In a last ditch attempt to stop his brother, Jack uses his speed to create a vortex, closing and collapsing it around his older brother, apparently killing him.With the collapse of the vortex, through a combination of physical exhaustion and psychological trauma, Jack's powers are lost. The collapsing vortex injures him gravely, and though he narrowly survives and recovers, his powers do not return. His speed is gone, his metabolism slows. He becomes, in essence, a normal human being once again.No longer of use to the government, the Zenith program is shut down, and Jack, barely eighteen, is tossed back into the real world.

the aftermath — In an attempt to cover up their actions, as well as explain to the general public what happened to the Zenith Team, the DOD begins producing comic books that chronicle and heavily fictionalize the many missions of the team. In these comics, Concussion is never stated to have been a member of the team, nor is he revealed as Jack's brother, instead painted as a long standing arch-nemesis.Jack, meanwhile, absolutely wrecked with grief and guilt, and unwilling to return home and face his mother, enlists in the army. Being a tool of war is all he knows how to do, in the end.He has a decent career in the military, though he has a reputation for grating against authority despite his unquestionable effectiveness, and retires after twenty years at the rank of Sergeant First Class. From there, he opens a racing shop in Long Beach, California, called Slow Jack's.the return. — Thirty years after the death of the Zenith team and the loss of Jack's powers, something begins to happen, a hole slowly tearing its way through reality. 1978 — john graduates seminary and is ordained as a deacon. six months later, he is ordained as a priest, returning to his local diocese in sterling, connecticut, serving under father allred.1986 — john and father allred are called to the martin house to exorcise seventeen year old amy martin. everything goes off the rails quickly, and father allred is killed by the demon, leaving john to face it alone. he is nearly killed, and in his terror begs for his life from a being he believes to be an angel, offering him salvation at the cost of amy's soul. he takes it, and survives, though he is swiftly admitted to yale psychiatric institute for over a month, and disavowed by the catholic church. struggling to find any stability in his life, he clings to his relationship with molly, a parishioner he was close friends with, though without his vows as a barrier and with john trying to distract himself, they quickly begin a very intense romantic relationship.

1987 — john and molly marry in the early part of the year and live, fairly happily, until the anniversary of the martin house approaches and john's mental health begins to spiral. molly leaves him as john begins to become obsessed with finishing what he started. john returns to the martin house, beginning what becomes a full on war with the cult that had escaped in his childhood, which was trying to summon an impossibly powerful demon. john narrowly survives, rescuing and reconnecting with lisa with the help of father garcia, effectively cutting the head off the snake. the cult obliterated, john and lisa leave sterling together, trying to start their lives over once again.

1982 — wyatt colton jessup is born to adeline jessup and country music superstar beau 'crazy horse' jessup in nashville, tennessee.1989 — beau’s affair with his tour manager goes public. back home in nashville, adeline moves she and wyatt back to their hometown of elkton, kentucky and begins divorce proceedings.1990 — beau jessup dies of a massive prescription drug overdose. adeline does not attend the funeral and does not allow wyatt to, either.2000 — immediately following his high school graduation, wyatt leaves elkton and heads back to nashville to seek out a music career of his own, going by the name colton jessup, and trying to create the image of a god-fearing man who’s learned from his father’s mistakes. his reluctance to cover his father’s songs and to brand himself after him makes it difficult for him to gain traction.2005 — wyatt is taken on as an opening act for the american leg of one of his father’s old friend’s tour, making more people aware of him and properly jump-starting his career. several of his songs from his first self titled ep begin to get playtime on the radio.2006 — wyatt again tours the states as an opening act for a bigger name, further increasing awareness of his name. meanwhile, his first full-length album, homecoming is released, to massive success.

2007 — plans for wyatt’s first tour as the main act begin. jake sullivan is hired to be his guitarist and backup vocalist. when his planned opener for his first tour falls through, jake recommends delilah price, and she makes the cut. the three bond incredibly quickly.2008 — at the end of the tour, delilah and wyatt begin a romantic relationship. wyatt also records, but refuses to release, legacy, an album full of covers of his father’s songs.2009 — wyatt’s second full-length album, freefall, is released. late that year he begins a second tour, joined again by delilah and jake. the three get matching tattoos around their wrists to commemorate it. not long after, jake begins joining them in the bedroom, though he keeps some distance publicly. wyatt's drinking begins.2010 — delilah and wyatt record and release more than heartstrings, an ep of duets. wyatt continues performing as his substance abuse issues worsen.2011 — wyatt, delilah, and jake tour again, their first international tour. the arguements about his self medication begin. wyatt makes a brief attempt to get clean but it lapses quickly.2012 — amidst engagement rumors, wyatt and delilah's relationship continues to devolve. around chistmastime, she issues an ultimatum that he clean up. when he refuses, she leaves him.

2013 — wyatt begins his first european tour, without delilah or jake. his usage spirals out of control and he suffers an exhaustion and drug induced panic attack onstage. a few weeks later he has a nearly fatal overdose. after that he goes into seclusion as he moves in with his uncle travis and works to get clean.2014 — wyatt begins rebuilding his life. he seeks treatment for his post acute withdrawal syndrome, begins working with his dogs, reconnects with his faith, and reaches out to reconcile with jake and delilah.2015 — wyatt purchases a large piece of land two hours east of nashville and begins working on clearing the land and building a home.2016 — wyatt gets a job with another record label, this time as a songwriter for other country music artists, under the name wyatt jessup, instead of colton, and finally begins giving interviews again.2017 — wyatt joins delilah and jake's band, blackbird hollow, on the last bit of their tour, his first time publicly performing since his overdose. during this time he publicly comes out as bisexual.2018 — wyatt begins splitting his time between writing music and performing, this time on his own terms and on a schedule he knows he can healthily manage.2022 — wyatt founds prodigal son records, a recording label for musicians with a history of addiction and substance abuse, created for the sole purpose of helping artists maintain their sobriety and careers.
